The NYC Health Dept has decided to spray Anvil 10+10 to combat mosquitoes and by inference West Nile Virus. The zip codes exposed are 11206, 11221 and 11237. I wonder if Anvil 10+10 is being sprayed in areas other than these overwhelmingly Black and Latino working class communities? It’s a very harmful pesticide that has been linked to…drum roll…asthma and other respiratory illnesses, and oh yeah, one of it’s ingredients might be a carcinogen.
